Group Therapy
Overview
Group therapy allows for a group of individuals to meet in a confidential setting to heal and share experiences with others who experience a similar issue.
Group therapy assists individuals to increase communication and socialization skills, and allows clients to learn how to express their issues and build awareness with others.
Most groups have between 6 to 8 clients per session, and will have one or two therapists facilitating the group. Group therapy allows individuals to develop self-awareness by listening to others with similar issues. Most groups meet on a regular weekly basis, and last 6 to 8 weeks long.
Our therapists are able to provide group therapy services on a range of issues including: Social Emotional Skill Building, Mindfulness, Grief & Loss, Parenting, Divorce, Anxiety, and other support groups
*Group therapy services are dependent on appropriateness of fit and availability of the group members.
