Community Health
As an anti-poverty service organization, community health is a priority to us. Our staff work with individuals and families to increase their self-sufficiency; in addition, they advocate for community system changes so that all people can succeed. Even at the best of times, parenting can be hard, but during a crisis, it can be completely overwhelming. With the added anxiety of loved ones contracting COVID-19, the fear of losing jobs and income, the inability to pay rent, the school or childcare center changes, and the need to survive in small, cramped spaces—family stress and tension are at an all-time high. Our services can help.
