Overview

A quality early learning environment that promotes cognitive, social, and emotional development for children ages 2 to 5.

Developmental Playgroup meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10am-11:30am during the academic school year. The Developmental Playgroup is led by a qualified Early Childhood Education Teacher and supported by NMCS’s Bilingual Child Development Specialist who provides resources to support families to confidently move forward with their own goals to succeed at home, at school, at work, and in our community.

Parent and child will be welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where they will play with others, sing age-appropriate songs, move through music, and listen to storytime—all while developing social skills, problem-solving skills, math skills, and a foundation for reading so they can enter kindergarten ready to learn.

If you are interested in attending Developmental Playgroup with your child, please submit an interest form here.
