Holiday Share & Toy Drive

Community Health Holiday Share & Toy Drive
Overview

Our Holiday Share Toy & Drive Campaign has been bringing the magic of the holidays to vulnerable children and families in North Marin for 49 years. This treasured program serves families facing financial hardship during the holidays.

In December 2021, Holiday Share Made 468 Wishes Come True!

We’re deeply grateful to our generous and caring community for helping 468 children’s holiday wishes come true at our 49th annual Holiday Share event. It was a record breaking year for us – 226 low-income families were served on Saturday, December 18, 2021.

Volunteers, staff and Mr. and Mrs. Claus greeted families, spread holiday cheer and joyfully handed out gifts at our drive through event. Children received toys from their wish lists, as well as bikes, stuffed animals, Target and Safeway gift cards and clothing. Each family also received a bag of groceries for the holiday.

Our hearts are warmed by the donors that sponsored all the families and the 78 volunteers that helped us prepare for the event and distribute gifts. Thank you!

Special thanks goes out to our generous community partners including Novato Fire Foundation, Novato Fire District, Novato Police Department, City of Novato, Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART), Sutter Health, Bank of Marin, Redwood Credit Union, Novato Rotary Club of Ignacio, Rotary Club of Novato Sunrise, Rotary Club of Novato, Novato Lion’s Club, Equip Sports, Grocery Outlet, Costco, Wednesday’s Gift, Valley Memorial Park Cemetery and Funeral Home, Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical, Desire 2 Inspire and other generous event sponsors.

This event came two weeks after Heroes and Helpers where sixty youth were able to purchase holiday gifts for their families with the Novato Police Department.

Please enjoy the following two videos from the event.

We thank you for lifting up those in need and spreading joy throughout our community!
