Whether you become a volunteer, donor, choose to take a tour of our two buildings, we welcome your involvement.

Seeking a meaningful way to give back to the community by…

  • Helping with homework or read to children
  • Distributing emergency food to families
  • Handling administrative tasks in a friendly office
  • Help our chef in the kitchen or garden
  • Become a tour docent or greeter
  • Talking to people about NMCS at an information table
  • Bringing holiday cheer to families in need
  • Represent us at a community or fundraising event

Community groups are invited to…

  • Sponsor our Holiday Share annual fundraising event, held each November
  • Walk with us in the Novato July 4th Parade
  • Initiate your own Collection Drive to collect gift cards for families, children’s books, or high-protein foods (peanut butter, canned meats or tuna) for our food pantry serving 150 households each week
  • Host a Party with a Purpose at your home, office or favorite restaurant
  • Volunteer together at one of our events

North Marin Community Services offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for teens to fit your interests, skills, and time availability. Let us know your interest and schedule and we’ll find a match.
